> TO PREPARE for your future undergraduate degree with modules in Academic English, Academic Research and Methods and subject-specific modules * Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Politics, Geography, Economics, History of Art, Literature, Philosophy and Classical Civilisation
> TO GET a qualification which is recognised by all UK universities for undergraduate studies

What is the Scholarship?
Value: full UPC tuition fees, Campus Pack, UCAS application support, Sanctuary Scholarships application support for undergraduate progression

Number of awards: 2 scholarships

Available to: prospective UPC students from forced migration backgrounds living in London or the Greater London area

Level: pre-undergraduate

Selection criteria: educational, personal and financial circumstances, as well as academic background and potential

Application opening date: 15 February 2023

Application closing date: 15 June 2023

Result: by 1 August 2023

Asylum seeker, Refugee status, Humanitarian protection, Temporary refugee permission, Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain (private/family life), Indefinite Leave to Remain, Ukraine schemes

Additional notes about eligibility criteria

Eligibility

  • You are a forced migrant living in the UK
  • You do not have a qualification that allows you to apply for direct entry for undergraduate study
  • You are living in London or able to (without prejudice to your Home office statutory requirements)
  • You can support yourself for accommodation and living costs in London for the academic year on the UPC
  • You know what degree you wish to study and have started to prepare for it or have received some education in it
  • You are in financial need

Entrance tests

  • Take 1 or 2 (online): 22 April or 1 July
  • Prepare using the practice tests online

Interview

Selection

  • You will be informed if you are selected after the interview
  • You will need to make sure you fill the additional eligibility criteria (proof of financial support and housing in London for the academic year)
  • A panel will review all applications
  • Final decisions by 1 August
