RefugEAP Programme (pre-university academic language and skills)
About this opportunity
RefugEAP is an online, non-formal, part-time EAP programme for refugee-background students, run by the University of Leicester and the University of Leeds. It is for people who want to start an undergraduate or postgraduate course at university, but first need to improve their level of academic English. It has been designed for students who are not able to access a regular full time pre-sessional programme.
Closing date for 2025-6 cohort: 11.59pm (UK time) Sunday 3 August 2025

Asylum seeker, Refugee, Humanitarian protection, Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Ukraine or Afghan Schemes, British National Overseas (BNO), Other forms of sanctuary (including Calais Leave, Section 67 Leave, UASC leave and Stateless Leave)
Additional notes about eligibility criteria
In addition, applicants must already have achieved an academic level (from any country) equivalent of UK level 3 or higher
