About this opportunity

Taking place during this year’s Refugee Week, the UCL Access and Widening Participation team is organising an event specifically for young people in Years 10-13 with backgrounds of forced migration.

At the event you will get to visit the UCL campus, take part in interactive activities and learn more about university. You will also get to speak to UCL staff and current students to find out more about the support that we offer at UCL for sanctuary students and to ask any questions that you might have.

Asylum seeker, Refugee, Humanitarian protection, Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Ukraine or Afghan Schemes, Other forms of sanctuary (including Calais Leave, Section 67 Leave, UASC leave and Stateless Leave)

Additional notes about eligibility criteria

The event is open to young people who:

Are in Years 10-13, currently studying at a UK state school or college;
Are interested in learning more about higher education; and
Have a background of involuntary migration (e.g. refugee, asylum-seeker)
