Full tuition fee reduction and £12,000 towards living costs for a student joining Royal Holloway, University of London, who has fled persecution and is seeking asylum in the UK.
One scholarship and bursary is available to new eligible undergraduates in any subject.
The Sanctuary Scholarship and Friendly Hand Bursary are part of Royal Holloway’s commitment to providing access to Higher Education for students who have fled persecution.

Eligibility

- – Asylum seeker, the child of an asylum seeker or hold Discretionary Leave to Remain.
– Ineligible to obtain funding from the Student Loan Company (tuition fee loans or maintenance loans).
– Right to study in the UK.
– Hold an offer to study an undergraduate course at Royal Holloway.
– Have evidence you have sought asylum on arrival in the UK and that your asylum application is under consideration by the Home Office.
