About this opportunity

The Sanctuary Scholarship provides the full cost of tuition and £10,000 a year in living costs to successful scholars.

Asylum seeker, Refugee, Humanitarian protection, Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Ukraine or Afghan Schemes, British National Overseas (BNO), Other forms of sanctuary (including Calais Leave, Section 67 Leave, UASC leave and Stateless Leave)

Additional notes about eligibility criteria

Applicants to the Sanctuary Scholarship must be ineligible to receive mainstream funding from the UK Student Loans Company – this means that some residency statuses ticked as eligible for the scholarship will not always be eligible.

Applicants must be assessed by the University’s Fees Assessment team as eligible for tuition fees at the UK rate. In some cases, this must be completed manually by applicants after being initially assessed as International.
