About this opportunity
THE REFUGEE SCHOLARSHIP
DGHE is proud to support equal access to higher education for displaced students.
The DGHE refugee scholarship is for every student that holds a status as a Refugee in the United Kingdom. This scholarship provides a 50% fee waiver for each year of any HND course at DGHE.
We understand that displaced students face additional challenges and we will do our best to support them at every stage of their studies.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE
At DGHE we offer a Pre-sessional English Course that is designed to improve students’ academic English in readiness for their studies. It is intended for students who are planning to study for an HND or degree at DGHE but do not meet the English language requirement of their conditional offer.
Taking a Pre-Sessional English course will not only help you improve your language skills, but it will also help you with your studies and research, and give you more confidence as you prepare to start your course.
At the end of the course, you will be required to pass an online assessment under exam conditions in order to progress to your chosen programme. Upon successful completion of the course, you can progress directly to your chosen course at DGHE
This course is free of charge.
