Undergraduate Refugee Bursary (UWE Cares)
About this opportunity
If you become an undergraduate student at UWE Bristol and you have refugee status, humanitarian protection or granted leave under the Ukraine Schemes, you may be eligible for financial and non-financial (pastoral) support through UWE Cares.
This includes the UWE Cares Bursary of £1,650 per academic year, and a £500 bursary when you graduate, subject to eligibility and assessment of household income.

Additional notes about eligibility criteria
To be eligible for our support you must:
– be considered a Home UK undergraduate student by Student Finance.
– provide evidence of your status to our Admissions team.
– be enrolled on an undergraduate or foundation degree at UWE Bristol, studying at least 30 credits per year.
– not receive a full or part sponsorship (for example from an employer) for your tuition fees.

UWE Cares provides a designated point of contact for queries and concerns, from application through to graduation, and help to access specialist support services at UWE Bristol.
