About this opportunity

The University of Leicester is offering 100 Distance Learning Sanctuary Awards on a range of part-time Master’s programmes over the three academic years spanning from 2023/24 to 2025/26. These awards are open to applicants who have been forcibly displaced from their homes and/or who are at risk of political persecution, violence or conflict anywhere in the world

Asylum seeker, Refugee, Humanitarian protection, Limited or Discretionary Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Ukraine or Afghan Schemes, British National Overseas (BNO), Other forms of sanctuary (including Calais Leave, Section 67 Leave, UASC leave and Stateless Leave), I am outside of the UK, Other

Other eligibility criteria

We also welcome applications from students based outside the UK, and forced migrants with a range of immigration statuses, including that of internally displaced and stateless persons and/or who are at risk of political persecution, violence or conflict anywhere in the world. We will look at each application on a case-by-case basis

In addition, applicants must already hold an offer to study on one of the specified courses (or be waiting for a decision)
